Litchvield Wetlands

Litchfield Wetlands Nature Preserve

Davey Resource Group was contracted by Medina County Park District for a design/build wetland restoration on a 145 acre parcel in western Medina County. 102 acres were restored to a variety of wetland, upland, and mesic habitat types. Additionally, DRG designed and led the installation of over 1.5 miles of aggregate loop trail and a 30 car paved parking lot to facilitate public access. The project was funded by the Clean Ohio Fund and the H2Ohio program.

Northwood Nature Trails

Northwood Nature Trails Dry Creek Restoration

Davey Resource Group was contracted by the City of Northwood for a design/build stream restoration project at the city’s Nature Trails Park property. The project sought to improve beneficial use impairments in the US EPA’s Maumee Area of Concern related to fish habitat, fish species diversity, and benthic improvements. The project was funded by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
